new to the site.

im the owner (snd owner) of a midnight blue 67 charger. i have owner the car for the last 20 some odd years. original 318/727 8.75 car with power nothing.
she had 4 wheel drums and a column shifter non console interior in dark blue. she was born with a white coat of paint.

while station at Ft Bragg N.C. i fell in love with her. drove her very little after i was able to buy her and post deployments ect i ended up bringing her home to houston with me. after years of storage due to life and such i found myself in late 2004 looking for a way to rehab myself after being wounded in OIF2. spending 6 months learning to walk again was a bit of a downer. but i managed.

i started with the tear down. front to rear and went through the cars major parts. built the front end, rear end, motor and new tarnsmission. saving all the originals as they came off. the car was painted ina color to my liking. since i feel white just did not do the body lines justice and since she was without any rust or major body damage i narrowed my choices over a few months and decided upon a color. 2004 chevy suburbans came with it and at night it looks as good as it does in the day.

(im sorry purists)

built a 408 small block since i couldnt find a 440 at the time and tossed some magnum heads i had on it. those where later pulled and sold to a guy who ran a 318 mopar in the engine masters build. i had ported them here and i was later told the heads ran real nice for him in that competition making something like 570 plus hp?

anyways, i ended up with edelbrocks just because. a weiand stealth and some other parts. she runs good and sounds good. im needing to finish the interior now. i have no desire to add any repop seat covers to her, i do not like the way they look. so i have bought some dark blue hides. now i need to find a seat man to finish my seats to my liking.

she is running on a a body disk brake front end. the rear is still the 8.75 that came in the car but with the 2.94 gears replaced by a set of 3.91s

the wheels i used where american racing salt flats. 15x7 in front with a 15x10 in rear running a 295/50

the exhaust is a 3 inch TTi header back using there stepped header. i plan on keeping her for a long time to come.

a pic from today. she awoke from a 2 year hibernation today. this is from my cell phone btw..hope you enjoy.
