Putting a mechanical pump back on the 440 and am in need of a fuel pump push rod.

IIRC, Mancini has new ones....

So does the local chain parts store, but i'm not spending $47.00 for one

Dayam....I'll look around. As many big blocks that have passed through my shop, I should have one laying around someplace....

Just checked with another parts store and $14.99,that i can live with.

If it's made in China, you might want to wait for an original to show up. I've heard of some having wear issues with the local parts house China made junk....

I have one...... Pay for shipping and you can have it. I like to think if I help someone the favor might be returned someday. Or maybee I'm returning a favor myslef??

Cool, now I don't have to get up off the couch and go look for one lol

i think i might have one, its off a 75-76 440 out of a New Yorker. IF you cant get one of these for what ever reason.. I have the whole 440 disassembled ( got it that way, missing head and main bolts, that sucked ) if he needs one it has to be there! And it to is free.. if its there..

be very carefull I ruined a crank and motor with a mopar performance rod that was not hardened correctly

spend the money and buy a good hardened one from hughes engines

i agree, there was a real bad batch of mopar performance ones made years ago and the metal was so bad, the pushrod had a nice mushroom cup to it and my car wouldnt run.i couldnt believe how bad it wore out. like under 500 miles too. get a good one and dont cheap out.

if you can't find N.O.S then look for G.U.S (good used stock) much better than aftermarket!
