71 Charger pics

No it's not. I was told that the power bulge hood was not an SE option for '71, and that the hood was from a '73

This is true, it is a 73 bulge hood but who care? is looks awesome! they should have offered the bulge hood on their other models imo. imagine getting a ramcharger hood on a loaded 71 se!

they are no power bulge hoods on 71 chargers like that one

72 -74 yes:grin:

actually, the first pic (green Rt with bee decal) IS a RT i read about it in a old MCG the factory put the wrong decal on the hood and it was sold like that! im 100% sure its the same car its a 4 speed hemi car!
You're absolutely right Mike, That first car is an R/T it was sold new at Kapus Erickson Dodge, Chrysler in Superior Wisconsin which is about 10 miles from where I live. The car was featured in MCG and it is a factory screw up on the Bee decal. It's been like that from day one the car is a survivor and still has the factory (or at least dealer installed) cold weather package, block heater. Oh..... by the way...... I'm new here and I'm liking it!

Anybody out there got a '71 Charger base model with the Coronet dash (rectangular speedo) and fixed rear windows?

Nice cars! second set of pics, brown car, who makes those Mags? I like!

It's Light Gunmetal Metallic. We haven't seen anyother ones this color at any shows or cruise-ins in our area. It really draws a lot of admirers.

Here's a shot of Tim Welborns 71 hemi Charger collection from Carlisle a couple years back.
