Well, this isnt a b-body but thought I would try here.

Car was restored by me a few years ago. I really dont drive it anymore, would like it to go to someone who will get use out of it.

Would be a good candidate for a v-8 conversion. I was heavily considering this but have lost interest and dont want to wrench on it anymore. Car has around 140k on it, has 87 drivetrain and electronics. Has the two piece intake, 555 manual trans, rear disc and is intercooled. Carpet is new, headliner has been redone, T-top seals are NOS. T-top keys are present. Wheels are 17 inch and have been painted to match(pics show the car with two different sets of wheels, but the 17's in the first pics come with). Tires are fairly new and still have the nubs on them. Hood was custom built out on an AAR hood. Car is turnkey and ready to go.

I would like 2,500 for it. I am located in Persia Iowa.
thanks
-Kaleb

This is what Chrysler called a G Body. I used to be into these cars big time, I had 3 of them in the past, 84 Laser Turbo, 86 Laser Turbo XT (rare), and finished off with an 89 Daytona Shelby which I sold in 96 and migrated back into older MOPARS where I've been since. These old G body's are rare indeed, especially today when you don't see ANY out there, many were just junked b/c they're built on the K Car platform.

I don't think a V8 conversion is good for this car; as is the 2.2 in the CS model was very rare, I almost bought one in 88 when new! The CS was lighter from the factory to allow it to go faster. The 2.2 Turbo II engine (which this car has, or, should have) had a steel crank, and cranked out 174 hp -- sounds meager to today's standard, but, back then, this was on par with the Z28s and Mustang V8s! And, it got 30 mpg all day long, the car only weighs about 2800 lbs!

This is a good car, and a great price, and, it's very rare not just because there are none out there, it's a CS model, which alone is rare enough!

If anyone wants my number, PM me and I will get it to you. Also, yes, this car does have the 2.2 turbo II engine in it.

Looks really good. Any pictures of the engine bay? interior or trunk?
