I am posting a few pics of my re-creation. We are "freshening" up the car. I originally trailed it from Texas, so the car has very little rust, solid frame rails etc. The little it has, is light surface nothing penetrated, so therefore in my opinion is does not need a complete tear down. It's a good solid driver for now... I will keep you updated, if you are interested.

Ha.. Ha.. you guys are hilarious. You might be right, the "Bullitt" charger is a hub cap producing machine. I already have 8 caps, just in case I lose some. I picked up 4 of them for $15 at a flea market.

Keep collecting them, TV has learned us that they fly off everytime you corner hard or jump your charger.

Update, just got done rebuilding the brakes. New return springs, rebuilt wheel cylinders, relined brake shoes etc.

Beautiful!

I need to find me a booster for mine. I have a 68 project too.. but mine is just a shell.. Patching up holes now, and then I will have it restro-mod styled. Emphasis placed on Bullitt with some of my own unique additions.

Booster install

Finally got my master cylinder and booster installed. I painted it to make it look nice. Thanks for the compliment HRDCHGR, it's just an amateur resto, but trying to make it into a good driver. I am interested in following your progress on your '68 since we are both "Bullitt" fans.
