Yeah we all had those moments.......As long as you get back up and learn from them.

Best bet would be to buy a service manual for your car Mike. It sure doesn't hurt asking advice on here, but myself, I always like to have the black and white on hand
 
If it's any help, I havea Chiltons (trade edition) from '75- be more than happy to scan & e-mail a few pages if that would help ...and remember if you raise the car up it also changes the alignment

Chilton's is OK in a pinch but will not give you what a FSM can in regards to specs and how these rides of ours perform and go together. Get a FSM either on disc or hard copy. Just can't work on these cars without one...

Found it!!!
HAHA! This was 3 full turns of the bolt. I ended up lowering it 1 full turn. Got the Torq Thrusts and Firestone Deluxe Champions on too!

2" Headers, RobbMC starter, and 3" exhaust go on tomorrow with the rear leafs to follow.

I didn't see it mentioned in this thread but for future reference figure that one full turn=1/8" of ride height. It comes in handy if they ever need to be adjusted to equalize L to R. Saves time and effort with all the jacking and lowering and measuring etc, etc.

Hmmm...I just reread that last post. TWO full turns? Did they use coarser threaded bolts in the 60s? Say, pre 69?

The car looks cool like that, by the way. I dig it.
