My name is Rene,born 1.May 1974 in Lohr am Main (50km to Würzburg or 90km to Frankfurt)
Iam a bodyworker since 1991 at a Mercedes repair shop.
After many many old Opels (GM) i found a 66 Newport at a Oldtimer swapmeet and bought it to my 30s birthday. HT Coupe,383,in good survivor condition.

2 years ago after intensiv thinking about it,i thought it must be a 1970 Coronet.
After seeing some cars with "little Ohio" rust,i found MY 70s.
Model 440,post,green/black,with a 340 engine.Unwelded,partical repainted,one owner in LA,one owner in germany.Rusted floor pans,the rest of the car is very good.
The last two years it was a rolling restoration.
welding the floor pans,new carpet,TTI exhaust with TTi Headers,new windshild,remanufacture the rearend (from 2.71 to 3.23,sure grip,new bearings,...),many ne bushings,changeing some trims,interior parts,.. for better ones, nad many other things.
This winter i will remanufacture the front end and changeing power to manual steering.
At the moment i am restoring a 69 roadrunner from a friend of mine.The car is complete striped and sand blasted.New trunkpan,rear fenders,....
My/Our big problem in germany:
-only one dealer for MOPAR parts
-the cars A,B,C bodys are very expensive
-cars for parting out are very rare
