Will a 70 Roadrunner fit in a 20ft enclosed car hauler? I would hate to drive 750miles just to find out the car is to big.

Well my gtx fits on my 14 foot dovetail no problem...
Petty Blue 67 gtx

My books have the 70 at 202.7 inches or 16.9 feet. The enclosed should also be wide enough. I could always go measure mine but trust the references i have.

also has wheelbase of 116 inches... want the weight?

My 66 Coronet is 17ft and change long. 70 might be just slightly longer ?

Thanks guys!
My trailer inside is 19.1 feet. If the car is 17 feet it looks like everything should be good but damn tight.

It will be damn tight and no room to move it much for the proper tongue weight. You will most likely end up with a lot of tongue weight.

I trailered my 70 super bee on a 20 foot enclosed trailer with no problem. I just bought a new trailer with the same dimensions. I would suggest a weight distribution hitch though [2 5/16 ball]. I pulled it with a half ton Hemi Dodge truck and pulled like a dream. I almost cut a guy off by forgetting it was behind me.

I've got an 18ft dove tail car hauler open trailer, no problems carrying a B body or C body car at all, if you carry a car engine out back, backed on, it sways a bit.

My trailer is a 16' open car hauler and most cars over hang the back if I place them for optimum tongue weight and it crowds the front of the trailer if I put one on rear end first and still ends up being too light on the tongue like that.....

Seems to me the cost of a weight distributing hitch would be small change compared to what these cars cost/ are worth nowadays. Cheap insurance.
