Just drove my car at night for the first time. I noticed my interior and headlights are very dim (Unlike other people on the site, the headlights don't change brightness at higher RMP's). Interiors almost don't even show up.

Do I need a stronger alternator?

Fixed the problem. Replaced the old 60 amp with a new Powermaster 75 amp. HeadLights and interior lights are back to normal!

Wonder if the same issue (dim lights at low RPM's) could have been solved with a smaller sized alternator pulley? Has anyone tried this???

My lights were always dim with the last alternator, it didn't matter on the RPM range. With the new one the lights are always bright, but the interior lights get brighter at higher rpms. Huh.
