Not having any luck finding a '69 Bee. So I'll try this. Looking for a '66 Satellite. My perfect car would be a gold/gold 361 Commando car without air. But Drivetrain is really not important. Solid body is. I have between $6000-7000 to spend and I also have a '69 Coronet R/T project I have loads of money invested in for trade for the right car.

Really trying to find a '66. Was my first hotrod.

Nice boat tail in background.

I'd drive that, too.

From my watch list:

That last one would certainly be a project, and possibly a transportation issue.
It's close enough to me that I could check it out and send pics without ownership bias (for a nominal fee like gas and lunch plus a few bucks for my time).

EDIT- My brother has a YY1 (medium bronze), Y interior, 361 a/c car. he's done some pretty severe quarter work to it and put in a new floor pan.
It kills me that he intends to put in a black interior, and paint it a modern color, especailly when the factory colors match my 66 Coronet. There are some pics about halfway down in my Coronet thread, including the patch he made from a 4d car. http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showthread.php?t=16620

Boat tail wasn't mine.
I would have to go with the stick car if I were to pick one. Mine was a 361, gold/gold that had a hot '70 hp 383 in it. Interior needed done, but was a low mile car with a very solid body. I would probably do one back the way I remember mine. Except the 383 would probably have a long arm in it...

There is a fellow named scott, (hemistix66 here), who advertized a really nice 66 Satellite a while back. His number is 309-299-2375 if you want to check with him about it.

Here is a link to a current ebay site for a project 69 Coronet 500 convertible. It would be a great canadate for an R/T clone.

I'm chasing a lead on a number matching 69 Super Bee that has been in a garage somewhere around here for many years... I haven't located it yet, but close.

66 Satellite......

Looking for a '66 Satellite.

My first hot rod was a 66 Satellite also. Triple black, 383 4 speed. I bought it when it was about 6 months old.... Man...!!! I loved that car.

Not a Satellite but a Belvedere II. Its mine and has a 440/727/8.75 3.55 sure grip. Originally a 361 Commando. No rust except for surface on the hood and deck lid. Real nice driver and a California car since day one. If your interested please PM me and lets talk. Thanks.

I have a 66 Satellite, just bought to fix and sell. Was bought from first
owner, it's gold with black interior, bucket seats w/consol. It,s
a V8. I'll look up the engine code for you. The car is hit in the front bumper, grille, and left front fender. No frame damage. Last week I bought a parts car with a good front.
If you have interest, I can send you pcs.
Thanks,
Car-man7.

Wow, I need to check in more often. I would be interested in learning more about both cars. The Belvedere in the ad two previous of this one and the Satellite.
Thanks.

And when the time comes and you need parts, I have a ton of them including full grills, turn signals, headlight Bezels, tail panels, and tail light lenses and all. Let me know what ya want....
