After I sold the '71, I couldn't stand not having a Mopar, and out of the blue one day, a guy who owned a '68 I'd been trying to get for about 5 years stopped by my garage, saw the '55 2 door wagon, and wanted to know how I'd trade. The '68 was a one owner car when he got it, had never even been painted, garage kept, and no rust.... lemme say that again... NO RUST! Oh heck yea I traded. Been trying to get it where I wanted it and safely driveable for the last 6 months, and here it is. 383 power right now with a 727 and 2.76 open, but Joe Lemley has my 440 in progress machining wise so I'll get it together, and I'm looking for a limited slip, but at least now I can smile and drive.

Awesome trade. The 55 was not a nomad I hope.Beautifull 68GTX. Hope you get it where you want it. Im still not done with my numbers 68RR LOL

That is really really sweet. Trading off the family style "Two Lane Blacktop" for a ride like that is definately worth it. You get a Scooby Snack.

Naw, wasn't a Nomad, just a 2 door wagon, 327 3x2, 4 speed. I'd done a LOT of work to it, and had a little over $15K in it, but.... I'm more than happy with the trade. Thanks for the kind words.
