Are you planning to go through tech inspection or chassis certification?

not trying for tech or chassis certification just start workin on it and get carried away .why do you ask ? superfreak any advise is welcome

The lower legs of the main roll bar have been cut and butt welded...... that's a no no. You need a roll bar for under 11.5. You are doing great work and I agree......you need big ding dings to take on that much work.

thanks i was kinda thinking that main roll bar might get replaced before i was done i dont like the welds on it .this has been a quite a challenge and lots of lessons learned and thanks for everyones input and comments

Great work! Each time i come back here it amazes me what you took on and how much its shaping up!!

I check this thread every day for updates. Loving every one of them. Can't wait till its done!

Rust repair...It's never ending some times it seems isn't it ?

Nice job! When you find an issue like this you just have to bite the bullet and take care of it right.
Didn't realize the upper left side was that likely to rust out. My cowl is in the process of getting done but I still need to open up that upper left area...hope I'm not in for a nasty surprise!!!

you dedication to this is amazing and inspiring.
