Dear Mopar fellows !

I going to change door hinges on passenger side on my 72 Charger - before I start I want to hear if there anything to be beware of, or any tips

DON'T, what ever you do DON'T drop the door.... You may break the glass....

Easier to do with fender off, easier to do with a couple of bolts with the heads cut off to use as alignment pins in the door temporarily and marking the position of the old hinges will give you a good reference point to start at in aligning. If you take out the striker bolt temporarily it will let you align the door to the door post and rocker easier and then all you will have left to do is put it back in and align it to the door. With doors this size 2 buddies to hold it will make it easier, with you left to only mess with the bolts. Makes the job go faster.

Remove fender. Leave door shut and latched. Change one hinge at a time. Adjust door ...piece..of..cake.

I did the driver side on my charger with the fender on. The lines are pretty even, but I think I will pull the fender and give the door another shot to get it perfect.

yha replace them with a set of 74+ hinges and have me rebuild them. It will work so much better

will I could use the 74+ hinges on my 72 Charger without any modification on car or door ??

yep its a bolt on. The 71-73 are a pita to fix the detent but they got smart in 74+ and went back to the roller detent which is very rebuildable.
