Viruses on moparts**warning***

I'm on there all the time. Bouncing between here and there. I'm not getting anything from Moparts. Just ran a scan, nothing. The Dell is running just like it always has, fast. Plus it's not Moparts, It's Google with the problems.
I ran the AVG upgraded for a couple years and got infections.
Been using Kaspersky on my new Dell for 18 months with not one problem.

No virus on Moparts. I go there all the time also. I think someone just dont like some of the people there. Ron
Have you never clicked on some car site and never got a virus? It's happened to me a couple of times but since I don't go to Moparts, I can't say one way or another but it does happen from time to time.

I've never click on any of the Google ads on Moparts or any other sites. Thats probably the key.

I should have known, mcafee warned me. it had a heading on top of moparts site, warning of malicious activity. O WELL my fault. going to change to kaspersky.

Never got a virus, but several malware attempts. Easy enough to fix without costing any $$.

What I am saying is Chris (SSR) does not like Moparts and it would not suprise me if he just started this as a prank. I know him and a few on Moparts do not get along and SSR never post on Moparts anymore as I think he got the boot. I have not got any virus from Moparts that I have ever know of and I am there almost every day like here. I think SSR just wanted to stir things up a little. No big deal to me but I dont believe him on this one. Ron

It was one of the Google ad's on Moparts, not the site itself.

I'm not real sure how Supersockracer could've gotten a virus from there since he's been banned for quite some time now?!

Yeah makes ya wonder... malicious cyber crime lurkers are everywhere

I go to moparts and this site daily and a few other places and have never had a problem , i have a 2 week old computer with mcafee on it but i dont click on any google ads either,

As of late, it would appear the only "viruses" are good people with bad attitudes trying to infect the rest.

I never got one, a virus, My anti virus denied me access and wouldn't let me in, i could have disabled it but that would be defeating the purpose.. :)

I just started using my spare lap-top and I caught a virus the first time I logged onto Moparts with that PC.
Over 5000 posts with my old G-5 Mac and not one virus, use one with lesser protection and BLAMMO trojan and worm viruses:angryfire:

Ya you gotta wear a rubber in the IBM world.

I love both the B bodies only and Moparts site and they have helped me in everything I had a problem with on my car or info I needed, up until a week or so ago I used to visit them multiple times in a day. Would love to go to the Moparts site again but until I learn it is clean I dont think I will be going
When I got attacked with the virus not realizing where it came from the first time, I fixed my computer and about a week later I got the virus again (while on Moparts again) it was a Vista 2012 anti virus and would not let me do any thing on my computer.I had to do a system restore on my computer both times. I have webroot antivirus and it never picked it up at all.
That being said I cant believe there are people here that think this is just a ploy to somehow do damage to Moparts. Some really shallow thinking if you ask me. Just my 2 cents.

It's been a long time since I picked up a virus from a car site but the protection I have these days blocks them...and I haven't been to Moparts in a good while and don't intend on going for sure now lol. I never disable my virus protection for any reason...

If your pick it up off of Moparts then chances are you will from any other site with Goggle ads and such. I'd be looking for thicker rubber, lol, or go to a Mac.

No I didn't mean that you were doing that if you took it that way, im sure you don't disable it. Wouldn't do us much good to have it and do something like that, I don't go over there myself but once in awhile if someone says to look at something, and im interested in it what ever it was.. Seems no one likes how things work over there just reading whats happened to them.. And im not going over there to see if i can get a virus..

I have had MacAfee, Norton, and Bit Defender. I have had great protection from all of them. Just stop surfing Eastern European ****!
