I wanted to update my build with Ben at PlumFloored. I was in Phoenix today and Ben had me over to the shop. The build is shaping up well. I'm really satisfied with the progress lately and the creative ideas Ben is putting together. We're over budget and time frame of course but within reason. The shop and car looked great.

after listing this message, ben got in touch with me and is returning the parts i sent him for customization. The truth is I like ben and I think he does amazing work. I wish he had responded prior to me having to go through these boards to get his attention....as i had left many emails and phone calls over months... and to his credit, he is responding now and making our business together right and returning the parts i sent him...

This strikes a nerve with me. Beware of a company that advertises how good Christians they are. My wife got ripped off for $20,000 . The company declared banruptcy. We got a very small portion back from the trustee.
Another thing-- Go ahead and make a small payment on work you want done. Do not pay any more untill you see for yourself that your money paid is going for your car. Not un-common at all for people to use your money for projects previous to yours and planning to "make it up" to do yours. Most times it doesn't happen and you get a lot of stall tactics.....................................MO
