1970 cornet-desoto bumper?

I thought I read somewhere that the 70 cornet bumper was a restrike of a 50's front bumper. Think im going crazy. Can someone set me straight?

I should of mentioned I was talking about the front bumper.

I am not sure what your question actually is!

But if it is was the 1970 Coronet bumper (grill) used by any 50's Dodge or DeSoto the answer is no.

Waht I mean is I thought I read somewhere that A 50's desoto front bumper was used on the 70 cornet front. Now I have to look through all my info. Maybe I at out of too may aluminum post and my brain is gone. lol

hey , I just joined your site . 50 desoto is a completely different bumper than a

70 coronet ! is your question " can a 50 desoto be used on a 70 coronet ? " , well

i guess anyting can be modified to fit but what is the look your going for ?

i'm a chrome plater of antique and late model cars etc. i haven't seen it done but

not totally imposible. check the inernet to see what they look like and then find out

what you need.

I read somewhere a while ago that it was the Edsel. I have not checked it out
