Look what I found out in the sticks of Northern MN the other day. This was originally a bright blue metallic with blue interior 383 4 speed hard top car. Not much left of this relic but still worthy of saving from it's pending doom.

Nice find...I bet it,ll all buff out too!!!!
Petty Blue 67 gTx

just need a coronet doner car now.
Still glad to see someone like you saved it though.

Ive seen to many things in the resto/project thread to think this cant be another beauty someday... lots of work! Hows the frame rails, doesn't look like it sags anywhere!

Doing anything with that would be out of my league. Looks like a Donny project!
Would be cool to get some history on it.

I'm waiting for the the guy that I bought it from to dig up the fender tag and vin that he pulled off the car so it wouldn't get stolen. I thought my Green Go car was rough, but this one takes the cake. Rear frame rails are shot front rails appear to be in good shape yet as well as transmission crossmember. Rally dash and frame have been pulled (I was assured that vin tag stayed him) and parted as well as hood and any amount of other goodies. It does still have the 8 3/4 under it and a good k-member, inner fenders and frame rails. He sold the 4 speed hump with a good portion of the front floor pans with it. I will decode this car for all of you once I get the fender tag in my hands. Found a very small portion of the build sheet that the mice didn't eat (useless). Almost forgot, no rott in lower window corners like you see on so many of these cars and roof is surface rusted but looks very straight.

Its a good candidate for a fixer upper! As for K Members being good, I don't know of any that go bad as they are a pretty stout piece of steel. They make most of these items as repops, except the hood on this vehicle and tail deck lid. Prolly could scour the internet ads to get what's needed. Where'd the car live its life is what counts. That GTX of mine was a RI car, and it was full of rust.

LOL! You'd be suprised buddy...Ask Matt about the Roadrunner I looked at in Detroit. The ears off the K looked like someone pulled out a bolted up engine with a Peterbilt and a logging chain.

And that's why we love this hobby/work...All the wonderful and creative craftmanship we can adore and roll on the ground laughing about.

70 bee fender tag

looks like a stripe delete. do you have a fender tag?

The guy I bought this from pulled the fender tag and vin so know one else would help themselves to it. He told me he put it in a real safe spot and will get it to me asap. Hopefully he didn't put it in such a good spot that even he can't find it. He had 3 69 Satelites, 1 was a sport, 1 was a vert and the other a plain Jane. He also had 3 Challengers that I could see a 72 Cuda and 3 70 Cuda's of which 1 needed very little work. I think I like this guy?

about 8 years ago i had a 70 super bee, fc7 plum crazy purple ,white interior, white reverse C stripe 383/727 8 3/4 , bucket seat console car. i LOVE 70s. i have had a number of 70 4 door parts cars and a couple coronet 440 2 doors, and an R/T that was a basket case. a good friend of mine had a 1 of 147 built ,70 coronet 500 ragtop, factory 383/4 speed/power window/AC . i am still kicking myself in the *** for getting rid of the bee. there is no other like a 70 dodge coronet in my book. i hope to see you do something with yours. those parts are getting really scarce. i hope to find another one , one of these days. thats great he has a fender tag for you!
