69 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible!

Parts car or project....you decide!!

I bought this car with the intention of bringing it back and as much as I love this model of convertible, its just not first, second, third or fourth on my list due to the amount of work required so here it is!

This car is an unmolested, original drive train (318, auto.) convertible that has not weathered well at all. It has major rust issues in the front frame rails, torsion bar crossmember, rear frame rails, trunk pan, floor pan, etc, etc! As far as I know, this car still retains all of its convertible only parts, original glass, interior panels, chrome trim and so on!

I bought two really good fenders from a Moparts member which I have not picked up yet but will soon! The fenders are included in the price of the car.

Car is in Louisville, KY

Has registration and title.

I cant tell from the pic... is the nose up just a little? From the hit I would guess...
 
No, its up from the torsion bar crossmember collapse. The grille & hood art work was done by a moron who did not know how to open the hood so they used a crow bar to pry it open. The hood latch still works believe it or not.......
 
I hate to say it...Part it out,out get a really big loan to fix it up..

Somewhere out there there is someone that needs parts for their R/T convertible or RR convertible. All the glass, braces, trim, panels and so on are there for the pickings and the top frame and windshield frame is in great shape. I just want to move it as a single sale though....
 
Not the first idiot I've seen ruin valuable parts with a pry bar.

IMO Parts so others may live!
 
I feel fairly certain that eventually it will end up being an organ donor for others or someone will do a re-body since it has a title??

Fairly priced and of interest but, regretably....no place to store it. I'd be interested in any VIN or fender tag data you'd be willing to share.

Thanks! As long as it is paid for, I'll store it here for about as long as you need within reason as its not hurting anything here.

Just a heads up on the price.....if someone is interested in the car only without the extra fenders mentioned in the ad, I'll take 3K for the car without them.....just a thought!

I have a 4 door 69 coronet 500 same color parts car body if anybody needs part. I would restore this car not part it out! Just sayin.
