1964 Dodge 440

Polara426, I appreciate the help you gave already but do have one more decoding question for you: Do you know what the M/3 and N/8 stand for?

Figured I'd show you guys a bit of update since I got her home on the 5th:

I've got most of the interior out:

ZZ paint was a one year only color for the anniversary Dodge.
You might want to reconsider a color change as this a rare color.
Then again I am partial to that color as i own a ZZW car.

It's definitely getting painted and the thought did cross my mind. When I was thinking of going with the gold my wife asked me why and the only answer I had was "because the fender tag says so". Her response was priceless: "So does that mean we should take the 440 back?". So in the end I decided to go with the 1969 B5 blue as the base with some changes to the stripes that are on it now.

Granted...you did say rare!!!

NOTE:
This is the heading for the link you are referencing.

1962-1968 Fender Tag / Broadcast Sheet Codes List

Those are codes for a span of years and that code does NOT apply to a 1964 model year car.

Goggle tire size changes and you will see when that size tire began which I believe was 1968. I know my 1966 Hemi car came with the largest size available on a B body and they were 7.75X14".

I like blue but I thought I'd post a couple pics of gold 64's. You'd be miles ahead on the interior. Maybe the wife needs visuals. and maybe it won't sway her and you can still go w/ blue. But they do look good in the anniversary colors. Here's a link to more pics of the first one.

Right now I'll stick with the B5 blue as a base but I know I can always decide to fully restore her to a numbers car. Thanks though!

I figure it's been quite some time since my last update so here is a real quick blast of work thats been done since the last one.

Got a total of 16.25 inches between the fender wall and the frame/Calvert mono-leafs, those are 275s in there now:

Did you look up under the dash? Outer cowl rust usually means lower cowl rust. Now's the time to check.

Also, the my main man at the body shop recently lost his father. Worst part of it was that after my car did not see any advancement for a month he had the nerve to apologize to me. No kidding this guys work ethic was so solid that I had to reassure him that it was ok to take some time off if your Dad dies.

On top of that his Dad was an AF Retiree, 20+ years serving our country. I wish I was given the honor of carrying this hero to his final resting place but according to his sons report my fellow Airman laid him to rest with the respect and honor that he deserved.
