Hello to everyone. I am new to the site, but I am looking forward to being a part of the Mopar community. I am just starting my 1928 Chrysler project (Still in the measuring and planning stages) but I have posted a few pictures of it with the 440 and Long Ram intake set in place. Thanks for having me and I hope to learn lots.

Welcome aboard Heath! And to our Mopar community.. That is just plain COOL!! There's a whole section here for Member's Projects & Restoration's vehicles.. Hope you start a thread we can follow along with you.. :)

I didn't think they made 440's that early! :giggle:

Anyway, cool project and welcome! Back in the 80's in my area there was a guy that had a model A with a 300J long ram motor in it. The front view looked just like yours.

Welcome! Glad to see another project rod that isn't a 350/350 combo. The long ram with the carbs hanging out in the breeze looks awesome!

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! That will be a great project, what are your plans besides the obvious?

welcome aboard fellow canuck
i heard you guys had good **** out there:headbang:

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! That will be a great project, what are your plans besides the obvious?

My main goal is to keep it all Mopar. I'm having the engine stroked to 500 and built to put out around 500hp & 580lb/ft of torque & mating that to a 727 tranny. The frame will be boxed & reinforced to handle the weight & torque. I'm going to put a 6" drop tube axle in the front, but I'm gonna stick with the parallel leafs to be original & mount them under the axle to lower it down - everyone always switches these out to a Ford style Transverse leaf setup. In rear I am going to run an 8 3/4 diff with a 4 bar setup & coilovers. Disc brakes front & rear. It will get a 4" chop but I am not going to channel the body in case I want to put the fenders back on it down the road. The rest I'll make up as I go along.

Welcome to Here, Very nice old jallopy, but over Here in Oz the Vintage purists would wanna string You up for Rodding that.....

Great use of those long ram intakes!!! That will be a unique ride for sure. I have a friend locally that has an original rebuilt 1928 Chrysler that he is selling for $10k. I've been tempted to buy it just because it seems like such a great price but I'm not much into parade cars..
