I've been looking for a fan shroud for my 64 Belvedere big block for a little while. It gets a little warm when I get in heavy traffic or sit at idle for very long. I'm at a good steady 185 when I'm flying down the road. I've looked at the stamped steel shrouds sold by Megaparts and a few other places and they look ok but seem a little pricey to me at $305 for the shroud and mounting kit. I don't remember a lot of the pre 66 B bodies having a factory shroud. Was it only on certain combinations? Any advice is appreciated.

I think most of the ones that had the shrouds were the A/C cars. There has been some conversation about the shrouds on early 90's Ranger trucks fitting but its not for sure.

Haven't heard about the possibility of a Ranger shroud fitting. Will see if I can find one in the yards around here and see if it will fit.

Saw an article a few years back about making your own out of aluminum. Can you weld or have someone do it for you ? I think I have the mag somewhere !!

Moose, If you have any more info on that, I'd love to see it. I'm in the same spot with my Coronet.

Guys, used to run a 160deg. stat..worked pretty good. Hope this helps.
