I recently bought a 69 RoadRunner from the Chicago Illinois area and i would love to talk to previous owners. The car is originally A4 silver, black vinyl top, black interior, black hood traetments. It came with 383 4 speed, airgrabber, and A31 axle package. I was told the car was raced early in its life, blown up, raced some more, blown up again and basically sat since the mid 70s.
If anyone from the Chicago area knows of this car please let me know. I know finding the original drivetrain is an extreme longshot but it's worth trying!

I have almost the exact same senario as you do with my `68 Road Runner. I hope you have better luck then I have.

Don't Give up

Posted pictures of my 65 Plymouth 6 months ago and believe it or not talked to original owner last week. Got a lot of info about car. Some times it is a very small world.I used other Mopar sites to post pictures which resulted in a friend seeing the car and e-mailing me with name and phne#
