I think this has been talked about before but I can't find it. I need all the info to install the Pentastar on my 63's front right fender...location, size of hole, etc., etc.

Thanks

i wish i knew red...youve really helped me alot....i know it gose ONLY on the passenger side lower lower lower fender. im pretty sure the hole is 3/16 since the stems are usually 1/8 but dont quote me on none of this. i did a search 4 ya and cane up empty. if i find something ill pm ya!

Probably simplest if one of us measures vertically from the bottom lip of the fender and horizontally from the door/fender gap.

I found the measurements for the location on a 72 on here, but probably different. Also, I bought one of the plastic emblems and shaved off the mounting pins and used 3m emblem glue rather than drill holes in the metal. Never be able to tell the difference.

Thank you but thats what we do here, help each other as much as possible. I am hoping that someone with an early B can get some measurements...

I will wait till you run and measure.....:pimp_daddy::pimp_daddy::pimp_daddy:

That almost gives me the answer....the second part is for Imperial, Chrysler, Plymouth and Valiant. No Dodge is mentioned....

Ah - I missed that - thought it was all Chrysler corp. cars.

No problem, I will keep checking...

I'll try to get 63wagon to chime in since his car is all stripped down and easy to give exact measurements. We accidentally filled our hole as well on the altered but I'd really like to put it back. I think it is also two holes. One for a small locator pin on the back of the pentastar and one for the fastening pin. Not sure if there was a barrel clip to hold it in place or not.

Stay tuned.

One hole was 1/8" and the other was 5/32" and one did have a nut on it. It was then covered with undercoating.

If it's any help, I just measured the location of the pentastar on the 64 (one year off but it's definately the factory location)

From the back edge of the fender to the center of the pentastar = 5 1/2 in

From the bottom of the fender to the center of the pentastar = 6 5/16 in

The vertical measurement was taken from the underside of the radius.......Not the bottom of the 2 bolt mounting lip.
Hope this is of some help and of course.....hope it makes sense.

I measured from the bottom of the panel and the rear of the guard for you.
