Looking for a 400 to rebuild, close to western pa perferred.

Checked on CL and the closest I could find to you was in Portage/Altoona:sad10:
 
You might even try to find a rust bucket car with a 400 in it...Cordova,wagons and others...Just a thought..

400 motor

I have a1977 motor that I bough with a car on ebay.the guy fu-k me big time it has been clean up.He told me that it had been rebuilt .His rebuilding means fresh paint.I will sell it cheap:iamwithstupid:
 
Thanx for checking CL, I have a hard time figuring out that web site.

All I really need is the block with caps. I don't have to have one right away so I hate to travel to far. Thought I would start looking early.

Where about are you guys in NY located?

I checked at Carlisle last year and only found one with broken motormount tabs. maybe better luck this year.

What are you building? Elephant ears are another option....
 
Haven't decided yet, but I have a str-15 crossram I would like to use and thought the 400 block would be better than a 383.

I'll trade the 400 for other Mopar parts if it'll help.
 
I don't have much to trade, the distance is the problem. I am planning on going up your way in May for a fishing trip. Might be able to get it then. How much do you want for it?

Definitely lots of good fishing around here! I'm heading to Carlisle in July, I can take it with me if it'll help you out. You only need the short block?
