Sorry if I have this in the wrong place mods.

Anyway, I've had this set of heads for a long time. And have never been able to identify them. Over the years they've been on the other forums I belong to. They are NOT D3's the cast# is one off. I even sent the info to theHEMI website years ago.... to no avail or interest for that matter. (HUH???) I believe these may be for a "marine" application for reasons I wont post here.

Cast# is 2946270... dont tell me it looks like this # or that# - these are out in my garage! I have one pair of valves for these heads they are bigger than regular HEMI valves. The ports are way different from other heads I have. I have a pair, but pictured is 1 next to a "regular HEMI" head.

Anyone have any ideas? And THANKS!

Weeeeellllll it's plain to see these are iron heads. Need an oldtimer to look @ these..... (I'm 57 thats not old enuff!)

there was a t/f head that i think was a derivative of the d3. maybe its a d4 fuel head.

I had a set of those. I bought a pulling truck and they were on it with Hillborn fuel injection. Sadly, i sold the heads and intake. I kept a nice set of stacks though!

I've often wondered if those heads weren't made for stacks, but just couldn't verify it.

I sold mine like a dummy because i couldn't find headers for the car i was going to put them in. The stock intake was funny on them but my block is decked and o-ringed and it had nascar rods and etcetcetcetc so i got rid of them. With i still had all that stuff. Oh well.

For grins I went out to the garage and measured the pair of valves I have...
2.298 intake
2.015 exhaust
both new....................................

This dont seem to fit whats on thehemi website, or am I just mis-reading something?
