Anyone using this radiator

It looks like the Champion I bought from ebay. Mine works great. that is a good price i paid more

Pretty sure that's the one I got as well. I had to open the mounting slots a little, but it's been a great radiator so far. If anything, it cools too well.

I've added this to my list lol. Been looking at the champion radiators, but will look into this as well. Hopefully BuckNeccid won't be the only one with good luck.

Wow,, after reading his entire review, I feel like I should order one today and I dont even need one!! Lol!!
Actualy, it is on the list of upgrades I would like to get sooner or later. I think they look nice enough in the car to justify the purchase on that alone, and after reading that, I would buy it first!

Wonder if they got anything in a THICK 22"?

I got the eagle 2 row 1" tubes 22" wide which is also made by champion. installed on my 66 coronet with a 318 poly. Works good. I also had to open up the bottom 2 mounting hole locations.

thats a ridiculously low price... cheap chineese crap is what it is.... I sell Ron Davis... same rad from them would be in the 600-750 range for a reason.

Honestly I wouldnt trust it but who knows. The 2 rows of 1 inch is correct .. same as what the top of the line rads do... but at that price...bahhhhhhhhhh no way its as good a quality

I will say this....it IS cheap Chinese crap....but it DOES work fine. Only thing I would caution you about these radiators is wracking/twisting. If you order one....when you receive it immediately check for wracking in it. Lay it flat and see how much twist is in it. Any more than 1/2"-3/4" of twist send it back because you may have some difficulty installing it.

Just a word of caution....get one that isn't wracked too much and they work great.

Champion Radiator

Less expensive yes, but it works. I bought the 4 row radiator from Champion. It fit great, and cools the car even better. I have had mine for 1 1/2 years and not a single problem. I have it in my 67 GTX.

I just put one in my 72 satty. It was slightly twisted but only about a 1/4". The biggest problem are the shroud mounting holes. I had to slot them and use Stainless T-nut style anchors and JB weld them in place for it. I used 10-24 by 3/4" (also stainless) with flat and lock washers. I haven't fired it yet but I know it holds more coolant and I like the large tranny cooler. I will fire it up tomorrow and see how it runs and let you know. They were very fast with shipping (4 days) and it was packed well. TAKE CARE HOWARD

All went well. I let it run for about 20 minutes just checking for anything. The only thing was my neighbor came by and I wasn't paying attention, the thermo opened. It was like a toilet flushed and blew some out of the top all over the car. Clean up on aisle 451.

I just finished putting a Champion aluminum radiator in the Cordoba. I used the three row small block version for a 71-73 Charger, but had to make some adapter brackets out of 1/8 inch aluminum (the Cordoba moutes are a little wider) it looks pretty good and lowered my operating temp by 20 degrees.

Great I've put about 300 miles on it and it hasn't gone above 160. It hasn't been hot here yet but I know from the stock rad it would run 180 in the same weather. I am running a 160 thermo, on a 451 stroker right at 500 horse so yes I am pleased. TAKE CARE HOWARD

The large tube aluminum radiators are very efficient but you need to mount them with rubber grommets to reduce vibration and flex. I just replaced the factory rad in my 95 Dakota with a single row 1 1/4" tube and the truck has never run cooler! Just for grins, I drove it for about a month without a fan and the only time the temps came up was when the outside temps were above 80 and I got caught at a long light and even then, it didn't over heat.
