I am not very familiar with these hemi,s. What did they put these in and how much H.P can you get out of one of these. Just trying to edumacate my knowledge. Thanks.

Well if my memory is correct,392's were the the choice of top fuelers and A/FX back in the day.Then the 426 took over.I know Big Daddy has a 392 on display @ his museum that was used back in day.A friend of mine is building a 40 Dodge business coupe gasser.
This is exactly what he needs for a power plant,just wrong time financially! @#$$!@@#

You are correct, sir. Although, the AFX cars were running the 426 - which was in existance by the time those cars came along ('64). The 392 is a very worthwhile powerplant to have. It's very popular with the hot rodders.
