Hi everyone.
I have been around Mopars all my life and I feel that I have reasonable intellangance. But I have the hardest time with fender tags. I just bought a 67 HEMI GTX roller and I need help with the fender tag. It had no build sheet. But a good tag. I can do the bottom line. But I am having problems with the rest.
Top row has an 6 under the a, 5 under the b, 7 under the h, 4 under the j and a 7 under the q.
Second row: has a 1 under the A, 9 under the D, 5 under the F, 1 under the R, 2 under the X and 7 under the Y
Under the AX it has a 48
Everything else I can understand.
If anyone can shed some light on my delema I would be ever so thankful.

Hi everyone.

a/6 = console
b/5 = bucket seats
h/7 = turn signals on the fenders
j/4 = body sill molding
q/7 = can't say that I've ever seen a 'q' code used on a 67 GTX. Can you post a picture of the tag?

A/1 = 26" radiator
D/9 = disc brakes
F/5 = GTX 'package' for want of a better term
R/1 = AM radio
X/2 = tinted windshield
Y/7 = white vinyl top

AX/48 = axle code = 4 = 3.23 gears 8 = with Sure Grip

Thank you Coronetrt,
Thank you soooo much for your help!
I have pictures of the fender tag and car, how is the best way to get it to you?
Thank you again
Sheldon
