I am in the disassembly/planning phase of my 69 RoadRunner project. Yesterday I removed the torsion bars and lifted the body off the k member, motor, trans, suspension, etc.
My question- can I reuse the 780/781 torsion bars? It is a low mileage (35k) car, but has sat idle for over 30 years. A few hundred bucks to replace won't kill me, but I would like to use factory parts whenever possible.

i'm reusing the factory ones on my 69 roadrunner, just cleaning them up with wire brush and repainting them. If there is no damage it shouldn't be a problem.

They can be reused, Just need to go back on the side they came off off.
