At the bottom of the seat frame where it meets the carpeted floor, hit it with the heel of your hand on each side centered between the driveshaft tunnel and the side of the car. Lift up at the same time. There is a hook bracket welded to the floor pan that is tappered down into a hook lock position that you are releasing.

Check this thread out and scroll down for the hand drawn diagram. You will get a very good idea how it is attached. Once you get the lower seat out, you will see how the upper is anchored down. Good luck.

thanks guys!!! came out easy once I knew how.... thanks again!!! I have found about a dollar under the seats.. one quarter is pure silver.. good day.

I owe you guys big time... You all saved me there, the humidity was so high today in Kentucky you could cut it with a knife. You guys would not believe what 80 degrees feels like with 95% humidity. Rough on a fat boy. I new every other car I have ever had the back seat just lifted out, I figured these did too but was unsure and did not want to tear anything up. When you guys told me how, it was simple. Maybe someday I can help a newby with the same question. Thanks again!!
