I started the long, long road towards my next AWB project, a '64 Dodge Polara. Its quite hard, to get motivated when , in the beginning, you are just staring at a blasted and primered shell. But, with soon to be finalized sale of my '64 AWB Dart, Identity Crisis, I already have the wicked itch!!! Sooooo- its off to straight axle land::

This'll be a bit of a drawn out build, as its a personal ride, and I have customer cars coming in, taking precedent, 'cause they pay the bills!!!! But, check in from time to time. I try to get alot documented, so maybe pics might help out some here as well!!

Cheers!

its alot of fun to do the conversion i just did my 65 belvedere HDT 12" in the back and10" in the front with stock front suspention in school and im 18!

good luck

Way cool, cant wait to see more pics, especialy how the new rear tubs look.

No rear tubbing, or even mini-tubbing needs to be performed on this car. The rear wheelwells are so big, both my Mickey Thompson' and Firestone 10.00- 15's fit!! Even without having to move the springs inboard!! Plenty tough for the period look I'm always after!!
