I'm putting a vinyl top on my '70 Bee and it's not real clear where the trim between the rear window and the end of the drip rail goes. I can pretty well see where it mates up to the rear window but where does it go on the drip rail end piece? if the bottom of the trim goes about 3/8' above the tip of the drip rail it fits nice, but it looks like it's going up hill to me so it needs dropped down a bit which leaves a hard to deal with area for the vinyl top.

A 68-70 Roadrunner or GTX would be the same a picture or a good discription would be great, the car is ready to go in for paint so I want to get this stuff done right the first time.

Thanks for the vote of confidence lol

first, I'm guessing that your car was not an original vinyl top car. The first thing you need to make sure of is you have halo trim for a CORONET and NOT a Belvedere (Satellite, runner, etc). I understand the trim is different between the Dodge and Plymouth.

Then I was going to suggest you look here:

About the best pics are on page 2. Hopefully they will help you out.

From the looks of those pictures as near as I can tell it lines up with the bottom of the drip rail end, it's hard to tell for sure but I'll tape it there and see what it looks like.

From what I'm tols all 68-70 B bodies took the same trim except for Chargers, not sure if that's correct or not but it fits good I'm just not sure what I'm aiming for.
