I'm From Brownsville, Pa, which is south of Pittsburgh......

I recently acquired a 68 Charger from York Nebraska, which I'll be starting on the Rebuild very Soon.......

So I'll be on here from time to time researching stuff for my build up and making a few friends as well...

More pics will be coming in the next few months as this Project gets kicked off this summer......

Welcome to the site. Lots of info here, and a lot of great people too.

Great car, that is my favorite year for my favorite car. Look forward to watching your progress.

I finally got a Sunday where I could work on finishing blowing the Charger apart, I pulled the rearend and suspension as an assembly, I'll have pics of that later on...

The Front suspension came out as one piece with some creative work using a Floor jack and some jackstands and a few hand tools, and my electric impact gun...

I then got in my garage so I could finish pulling a few last parts of it, in preparation for turning the sandblaster loose on it...

I've sold the old sheetmetal that bolted on it, as it was too far gone to bring back to level I'm after on this build up..

I still have the doors and deck lid, if someone knows of someone looking for parts..

I've got it up on the body dolly called a "Mopar Cart", it's the best tool investment I've made in the last few years!

I'll start a new thread in the body and paint forum once things get kicked into high gear in the shop...

Just be VERY Careful when sandblasting.I've seen too many people think this is the way to go and Warp the Hell out of Or Blow Holes Through the Body by Sandblasting.

Another Thing Is The Mopar Nats are at Columbus Ohio August 6-9...

If You Need anything this will be the place to go...Especially as close as it is..Even if you dont have the dough right at the moment Many parts DONT sell at the Nats and you will be able to get the Vendors Phone Number and buy it when you DO have the Dough...

Cool........

I didn't think we had anyone who lived that close by on this Forum...

well I made some more Progress today, and I have a couple of fastners with stripped heads, and a galled upper arm cam bolt!

But a few more days and I'll have the rest of the stuff off it and I'll be ready to start wire wheeling and doing some light sandblasting of the front subframe

That Charger is sick, I love 68 chargers they are my all time favorite yet they I cant seem to ever own one! Welcome and I look forward to more pics.

I've been cleaning a lot of stripped out screws and bolts off the uni-body, removing the last of the salvageable parts that were still on the shell..

I've still got about 4 stripped out screws that held trim to the shell, and a few odds and ends that need removed.

It looks like I'll have to weld in a couple of small patches in the front sheetmetal in the pass side door frame and behind were the front fender bolts up by the rocker panel.......

the patch repairs will be small, and should be easy to do..

more pics soon!
