Urine test

Yeah, I'm one of those damn liberals, but I think most of us can agree with this.

THE JOB - URINE TEST

Like a lot of folks, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I had to take a drug test before I was hired and I am required to pass a random urine test at any time. I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. So here is my question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, unemployment check, disability check, etc. because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their rump drinking or doing drugs, while I work. Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'. While we are at it, add child support checks to the list.

Isn't addiction considered a disability? (I don't think it should be, personally.)

Yeah, and Lord forbid if anything our government did make sense. But some dumba** from the ACLU would sue saying it's discrimination, that a person has a "right" do to drugs and keep his handout. I'm on state paid vacation, but if you want want me to p*** in a cup, line 'em up and I'll p*** in 'em all day long.

And right there is the BIGGEST reason something like that will never fly.

The problem is that most of the pols get money from drug-crazed Hollywood and the drug companies, and votes from the millions of free-loaders.
They'd never vote for anything that hurts their cushy lifetime " job ".
