I rather have that than one of the green cars they are trying to force people to buy. I wonder if the dealer would take 4500 for it from me instead of taking it from Uncle Sam and destroying an American Classic. There are so many things wrong with this program, I don't know where to start. If part of this initiative is to spur the american economy, how come I can't trade my car in towards one I actually want, like a new Camaro, Challenger, Charger, or Corvette ? How come the old cars have to be destroyed. You could put the VINS into a government database so they could not be registered to drive anymore, this way all those spare parts are still available to those of us that can use them.

I offered the dealer 6k for the truck.. They said they would but the paperwork was already turned in, and they would be fined 15 thousand if caught selling one. Funny thing is, most the dealers around here are bumping the prices up on the new cars a couple thousand..lol This program is destined to fail, just hope it doesnt claim to many.
