I was thinking of my next project. I thought Charger, Coronet, even for cool musclecars this is typical. So what about the unusual.

HA!!! That's it a 1970 Dodge Polara - Illinois State Police.

Yes I know a Polara is a c-Body but, there is no FCBO, so this is the best I can get. So, how hard is it to find a genuine DK41U0 car?

D = Polara
K = Police
41= 4 Door Sedan
U = 440 CID 375hp Pursuit engine
0 = 1970

Thanks. That site is so cool. Thanks for the help. Amazing pics on there.

You're welcome. I'm hoping somewhere on that site is the name of the guy down around the Poughkeepsie, NY, area who specializes in cop car restorations. He really gets into the Chryslers from the mid '60s to the mid
'70s. It's been years since I've talked to him, personally, and I can't find my records from when I did. But he might have a few donor cars around for your project. You might want to try www.dippy.org while you're at it. It's a site dedicated to M-body Mopars, but there are some guys on there who are heavy into cop cars and they have a wealth of cop car info which might give you some names to look for.
