Hello Everyone...Restoring a 67 GTX Convertible 4 Speed, Also fortunate to have a 1967 GTX Hardtop.... Both cars are red and white interior....

That looks like the one they "recommend" to use with the electronic ignition. That style is known to allow overcharging. You would be better off with this:

It's transistorized, and the case from an original mechanical regulator will fit over the top of this unit.
