Lowest milage Hemi Bird ?

Hey Stuart,I know where I live! I live in RhodeIsland, where I've lived for the last 25 years. My new shop is in Mass. I live right on the Mass/RhodeIsland line.

Mass is about a mile in two directions from my house. If you go north, you'll be in one Mass town,or if you go east you'll be in another Mass tow,,all within a mile or so. Back to the topic,I seriously doubt there's a lower milage Hemi Superbird out there, than Petes Hemibird.

one of two things, either to much disposable income which is a wonderful position to be in or a bunch of debt. Either way you have a great collection.

Great cars Memeep. Now back to the original question about the low mileage Super Bird. The White car. Did that happen to be the Jim Lindsley Super Bird? I met him about 1978 after he retired to Riverside Cali. He had another Super Bird behind his barn that could be seen from the freeway. My brother and I stopped to see if was for sale. "No" he said "but I got some other junk in the garage you might like to see". It was the Bonneville car and it had rediculously low milage. All at 200+ MPH. Aww the memories and what a neet guy. I heard they restored that car years later.

I just took some pictures from an old photo album. The first picture is of the car. The second is my brother in the blue car, me in the orange car, and Jim Lindsley at the race car. Sorry about the poor photo quality, but you should get the idea.

My recently acquired Hemi bird has 1478 ....6 owners
But it was a drag car...and has mostly stayed in storage it's whole life.

Cool.....we're gonna wanna see pics of that car here :headbang:

Here's a couple of its day 1 (original hemi came out with less than 10 moles on it...)
Second pics are of how the car is today.
My plans are to go back to the karl gould paint scheme.

Hi - high mileage is where I am at. Bought it in 1982 with 92,000 on it and have rolled up another 90,000 as it has 182,000. My favorite trip was from Seattle to the Bama reunion in 1999. Drove it 7,500 in 2 weeks. Here is some pics.BobsBird3.JPGBob's Bird - Dan 4.jpgSuperbird @ Spring Round Up 2010 (1).jpg
