Hi everyone I just got back into the car world and Im really wanting to finish my 70 Coronet R/T project car up.

The car was missing the original buckets and where replaced with Ford Mach 1 seats.

I have a set of Cuda bucket seats and Im needing B body seat tracks.

Does anyone make these?

Where can I find them?

Any other cars universal with a B body?

I used to use Stephens Perforance for a lot of hard to find parts and some rare parts. I used to use ebay as well and found a lot of good use or NOS parts on there.

I don't know of anyone reproducing these, The 69 Master parts book show these as Right and Left , use 2 on a bench, 4 on buckets, same part for B and A bodies. I'm pretty sure the E body unit is all together different. hope this helps.

I was hoping someone was reproducing these by now. I guess I can call one of the parts vendors and see if they have any used.

I think the E body tracks are a bit shorter then the B body. I need to look again as its been a long time since I looked at them.

Thanks for the help and I will keep looking.

try PG Classics...

Part# 1840-ST70LH and 1840-ST70RH

I find the site to be a bit cumbersome.
I couldnt find them in the downloaded catalog, or search function, I had to go page by page.

Wow those are high and thank you for the find. I will start saving now :black_eye:

Maybe I might get lucky and find them localy. There used to be a 70 Coronet 500 running around town a four door with a big hole in the quarter panels.

I put a note on it and offered a price on it but never heard from them.

I will see if the local car and mopar clubs might have something. Thanks again for that I book marked it.

Yea, I think they are spendy too. I recently saw a set of 68 Charger seats with tracks on FABO that went for 300.
But when I think what it took for me to fix some old (north country) rusty ones, you know, the time to go find some, sandblast them, try to clean the sand out of the old grease in the tracks, regrease and repaint.
I probably had about 6-8 hrs in the 4. Considering what a shop might charge, I think it would rapidly approach the cost of these.
Still, it's an expensive pill to swallow.
Hope you can find some good ones.

Yeah sometimes it is better to just bite the bullet and buy the reproduction stuff or NOS. I have been in that deal before and paid to get the right thing.

When doing my 70 Torino Cobra I came close to buying NOS quarter panels at $1200 a side. I found some reproduction quarters for 150-200 a side and wish I spent the money on the NOS ones.

The work I had to put into the reprodution panels and time it took to make the right would have been worth paying the $1200 a side.

The seat tracks im going to look tomorrow when I leave and see if the E body tracks are on them if they are I will use them or do what I have to and buy the reproduction ones.

I just got my paddock book in and those same seat tracks are higher for both left and right side seats.

I think the price was $475 for them.

seat tracks

hey check out ebay, this guy has a lot of seat tracks for sale, and just type in seat tracks, and you will see.

Hey thank you I will do that. I think I saw that Paddoc has the full set both sides right at $400 or a bit less.

Im saving money to get the quarter panels done either having someone weld or me get a welder and do it for my first every weld job.

i think any B body seats should work in yours.if you can find a salvage that has any cars like that, you should be able to get them from '68-'74.

Thanks I have a few good yards here or I did have. I know the one that had a lot of good mopar stuff the EPA went through and had them crush a bunch of old cars and from what I hear the guys moved the collector stuff before they came to crush them.

I will check and see and if I can get a set cheap I will restore them. Thanks for the heads up as I didnt even think about seat tracks in the yards
