I performed the tach modification surgery and gave APT the parts to restore and assemble. I used a new mini aftermarket type available at the parts store for about $40.00 and built the adapter plates to make it fit right in the factory can! It's almost like it was meant to be. He liked the work I did and said it calibrated perfectly. Now I need to make a print so I can duplicate the effort without reinventing the wheel. If anyone has access to a mill I can give you a drawing, or I can do it for you for a reasonable MoPar racer boy price.

Your gauges look great! Nice work with the tach mods.

Looks to be absolutely great work! The tach mod is sweet as well! :santa: :HappyNewYear:

Thanks!

The tach is the first mini I grabbed off the shelf. The face dial says Pro Tach and is made by Equus Products, Inc. It even has a 4 - 6 - 8 switch so in case you want to swap in a leaning tower of power in your GTX...... :tongueflap:

You have a before picture?
The Coronet Gauge cluster identical, and I'm thinking hard about getting mine done.

Thanks!

COOL ! I have been thinking all week about yanking the mighty Elephant engine out and dropping in one of leaning tower of power engines........NOT !:tongueflap:

Yeah, you probably don't want to cut the floor to put in sub frame connectors. Those rag tops twist easily :rolling:

Very nice. I live right by them and will be having them do my Charger dash this fall/winter. Can't wait!!!

I don't think you want to know. Each cluster with shipping, etc..pretty much killed a thousand dollar bill. The tach mod I made myself and had them restore the face and finish the calibration. I don't have before pictures of the gauges but I sent them absolute rusty corroded junk!!
