Howdy folks!

New to the forum, just thought I would share my Cordoba with fellow enthusiasts.

My great grandpa bought her brand new back in 78 and she's been in the family ever since. Still original RUST FREE paint (even has original dealer sticker from 78 in mint shape :p) and mostly original parts except tires/brakes and a couple other little things. Just rolled over 100,000kms a few days ago.

Here are some pics, hope you like it!

Nice looking car. It looks like your family has taken very good care of it.

360 2bbl, anything bigger and I wouldn't be able to afford driving it! lol, cost almost $130 to fill from empty

When my great grandpa owned it for the first 20+ years or so he only clocked 40,000kms, never drove it in the winter and always kept it in his garage, thats why it's in such great shape.. I guess it also helps I work at a detail shop and can clean it/polish it for free whenever I want haha.

When I got the car it still had the factory firestone whitewalls on it, with plenty of tread left..

The car has yet to give me any problems/breakdowns

I've drivin this car to the west coast a couple of times (5000km round trip)

from the praries, right through the rockies then to the coast(and beyond, to Vancouver Island via ferry) in one straight drive only stopping for gas (28hr drive) and she ran like a top the whole way there and back both times

didnt even come close to overheating in the high mountain passes when it was +30 celcius out.

but now it's -30 out so time to park it for the winter :(

Welcome from NW Indiana. Car looks good. Those are the kind of hand me downs that are nice.
