Remote open Hood

He said the car was going to be so fast that it was going to pop out to slow it down.
 
Pretty neat for a custom, but I hope the battery isn't under the hood. If it goes dead, how are you going to get to it to jump it?

Probably an ignition override that prevents that. Same type of setup available for door popper setups.

I didn't want to be pessimistic (ya, I know) but with the pivot at the midpoint of the hood, at speed, will the front of the hood lift? Possibly adding a stress bow to it? I'm just asking, I do think it's fricken cool and the way it works is awesome....
 
I'm with everyone, thats really cool.
I like that it pivots forward too, and doesn't just open regularly with power.
