FBBO Newbie here. Long-time member of FABO (Rays340) - but after I could no longer ignore 69 runner's arm-twisting to give his '69 1/2 Road Runner a new home - here I am!

Presently I have:
'69 1/2 A12 Road Runner (picking it up in two days)
'70 Duster 340 X2 (FE5 4spd & B5 727)
'74 Duster - 340 Transplant
'70 Duster w/ Leaning Tower of Power
'70 Swinger w/390 Stroker (the Wife's Pride & Joy)
And a couple of Brand X machines to be sold to finance the RR acquisition...

I've had 3 '69 Road Runners & 1 '70 Super Bee at various points over the years, but none recently. I'm really looking forward to getting back into B-Body mode!

Well, great; you've already taken the fun right out of being in a new place! LOL

Thanks! Glad to be aboard! Lots of familiar faces (? - well, maybe "members" is a better way to express that thought since this is the internet...) from FABO. Looks like it'll be fun here too!

Welcome to FBBO Ray! Good to see you here from FABO. Now, my question has been answered re: who bought Tem's Road Runner? Man, you are going to have fun with that one. Keep us updated with its progress. Again, welcome.

Glad to have ya' over here Ray..........I'd like to see some of those rides yu have listed if they're still there.............

Maybe we'll see you at a local event.

GTX - Yeah, I had a feeling when Tem first posted his ad on FABO that something was going to happen...although I tried repeatedly to talk myself out of it. I've had a yen for an A12 since I was about 15 or 16... This time the planets have just aligned properly...knock on wood! I expect to drive it a bit before It gets taken apart for restoration - you know, get to know the old girl a little bit...

Doc - still have everything listed there. The B5 '70 340 Duster is disassembled and the Rallye Red one needs to be completely redone - it was my high school hot rod and took lots of abuse over the years... Everything else is turn key. We'll have to make a plan to get together sometime...

Sounds good Ray..........We're "just down the street" in Zephyrhills....I'm working on a Dart Sport 360 right now, but need to get the Charger down here from the garage in NY pretty soon........All in new steel for the most part....gotta block it and get it ready for paint........

I've been ponderin' doin' a Daytona conversion on it since it's not a great numbers car.........Gotta think on it a bit more.

Later.......... Doc :D

Not gonna tell ya "Welcome" again, cause I already did that on the other thread:p
Yanno, when I found the A-12 it was destined to be mine (long story) And I think it's maybe the same this time around. Cause when I first listed the car, Ray sent me a PM about "bad timing". Then things got all messed up when I tried dealing with that "other guy". Even then, I sent Ray a PM saying I thought he was a better choice for the car. Was just a feeling I had. Then things went totally south with the "other guy" (who finally said he had family issues, but said nothing more) opening the door for Ray to have another chance.

Even though I haven't driven the car that much over the 10 years I've owned it, I've enjoyed having the car. I'm pretty sure Ray will as well

Hey Ray. You didn't tell me today was your:bday3::happybday::bdayparty::balloons:

You ought to be feeling RRRREEEEAAALLLLL good tomorrow when you hit the road at 6am:D

Happy Birthday Ray!!! Wow, that is one hell of a b-day present you're getting yourself! What the hell? If no one gets you what you "really" want, go get it for yourself.

Hey Guys, thanks for the B-Day wishes!

I showed Tammy (my lovely wife) GTXperience's post about giving myself a hell of a B-Day present, which I thought was quite humorous. As this wasn't "exactly" the case, I've been mandated to advise everyone that this isn't how this went down and that she is "Wife of the Year" for however long she wants the title for letting me scratch this itch...LOL

Thanks again, and yes, I'M ENJOYING MY BIRTHDAY "WEEK"...

Ray
:D

Kudo's to that wife!...............

............and have a great Birthday and a safe trip to and from..........

......and don't forget the PICS when you get back!!!
