I live about an hour east of TO, 1/2 an hour north of Cobourg. I have hundreds of pics of this car while in the process.
On the dyno, this engine came in @ 425 HP & 530 ft/lbs of torque @ 5500. Built by Tim @ www.forhemisonly.com
The car is so close to being painted now that i can smell the fumes!!! Fred ( 6pktgo )

I have 776 pics and sssoooo many details, from when i bought the original V code car, to now and i`m thinking more like 1,000 when i`m done. This has taken place over the last 20+ years. Right now i`m strapped to dial up!!!! ( anybody know what that means ??? ) I don`t think there`s room on here for me & more pics. Maybe i`ll have to get a web page and post the site so anyone can look in.

Dial up means that you start uploading a picture, go rebuild your engine and then come back to upload a second picture.

My first car, 70 C7 383 4 speed 3:91 N96 Runner

Thought maybe someone would like to see an old memory of mine. I bought this 70 Runner ,sitting in a fence line just up the road from me back in the spring of 77 for $100.00 as junk!! It was my first car. I was 17. Spent 4 years and $12,000.00 back then. Restored it in hand rubbed R-M Lacquer. Had it until i bought this 70 Charger in Feb. 89. Only have very few pics as i wasn`t into that back then. My baby is still out there, bedazzling them and @ last site ,it was headed to Georgia for $42,000.00 !!!

Late 70`s early 80`s

I remember going into the local Mopar dealer time after time ( where i`ve been shopping for over 30 years, & just yesterday placed another order ) and laying the 70-71 parts book on the counter and ordering what was available.
Keep in mind that i was seventeen and had a goal in mind. It took about 6 years and alot of sacrificed evenings after partime work after school and weekends not out with the boys!
I remeber getting both front fenders, both front eyebrow mouldings, hood moulding, all the stainless for the complete surround grille, the grille center & right bezel, both front bumper signal assemblies, all 4 side marker assemblies, both tail light lenses, left rear reverse light, left remote rear view mirror, both door handles, the right side door skin ( in 1980 the quarters were already nls ) front & rear bumpers with impact strips for the front, **** ( IS ANYBODIES MOUTH WATERING OR IS IT JUST MINE???? )**** , Road Runner quarter names, pin type, for both sides, both quarter louvers, 4- 15x7 brushed beauty rings, 4 light argent centers, front windsheild & rubber, etc .............. I think everyone gets my drift. Funny how you never seem to forget this kinda thing. Sorry to be sooooo long winded Fred
