Hello FBBO Members * I got this for sale 68 Sport Satellite convertible last night through my website Dream Car Locators * The owner claims it's a running & driving project * He also said when asked that the frame rails are soft in a couple spots & that the same goes for the floors & trunk - but all are still intact * He claims the original 318-2 barrel was recently rebuilt & that it runs great * He says that he has a 383 long block that he's willing to let go with the Satellite if the buyer chooses * He also said trades were an option * I asked him for a price - but he wouldn't give me one * Sounds to me as if he's testing the waters * No phone number - but his name is Dave The Satellite is located in Staten Island,
New York

Just thought I'd pass it around * If it wasn't so rough I'd probably buy it myself * It's alot of work - but definately a very nice car when it's done.

Wow, that car is going to need a LOT of work. Just a few years ago, we didn't have what we have now to rebuild these cars. The issue is, finding the person to build it and take a loss on it receipt wise; as often we never get back what we put into these cars.

I have a buddy who's the lead guitar tuner for Pearl Jam * He has the exact same car - same RR hood - same color combo inside & out - although he has a 440 with Magnum 500's & Red Line tires * Naturally his is mint * I think I have a picture or two if I can find them I'll post them.

I didn't see a price. How much?

Hey all - like I said in the listing - the guy wouldn't fess up a price * He's definately testing the waters if you ask me * Somebody should email him & see if you can get him to talk * I wouldn't act too interested though - say you're looking for a parts car or something of that nature * Might be that's all it worth anyway.

He has been trying to peddle that car for a while now. When i was looking for a trade he kept on and on.I figure my trade was worth around $9000 or so.I would guess that would be what he is after for $$.Oh and i did end up trading for this even up.
