I'm looking at Charger seats, maybe SRT8 types, Charger gauges, engine tranny combo, I know the engine combo is a done deal with many, meaning it's been done, but the seats and gauges? Modding them to fit onto our dash boards...sounds like a challenge!

It may be a Challenge, but it can be done, anything is possible ! , I remember my Dad saying all my life , "You can put a 426 HEMI in a wheel barrow, If you got the time and the money" . and judging by the things that I have seen in my life, He's about right.

I placed seats from an SRT Neon in my Duster. I love the way they fit.

SRT-4 seats are awesome ... one of my favorite parts of the whole vehicle ( neon that is ! ) ... really a good seat, keeps you in nice and tight

I myself am more of a hot rodder than a purist,i say go for it.

I agree, i think these were out of an 05 that was totalled. I saw the identical seats, except w/ submarine and shoulder harness slots in a viper. And to think I got them for only $120 the pair. I acted very non-challant and tried to pick up some very dirty Brembo calipers while I was there, but.... he knew what they were worth. RRrrats! Not sure why these seats were so cheap but he had another set sitting there but refused to seel me a 2nd set for the same price.

Oh well, shouldn't be greedy.

I like a little mix of both old & new... I've pretty much been a Day 2 type guy, been down the 100% OEM road too... Elite 1100 ProCar/Scat seats & mounts in my 68 RR, about $750 total, nice for what I want, {might cover them differently someday}, much better than the original bench for cornering & keeping my butt planted, newer style Tuff steering wheel, I will do the custom classic style 7 gauge panel "finally" when I do the under-dash rewire hopefully soon, maybe this year... life keeps getting in the way, I also like updated suspension & steering too {rack isn't my favorite install}, the old OEM stuff, just doesn't do-it for me, for the best driving & handling experiences... The engine is still old school carburetors 6bbl 383/479ci thou... Thought about doing the T&B Throttle body 6bbl EFI, but I don't mind the carbs at all thou... car looks old school from the outside thou...

Budnicks I REALLY like the look of those seats in your car! A LOT!!!

In this pic you can see the SRT seat in the drivers side.... not mounted yet but you get the idea. The SRT actually really works for this car because it's moniker is the "Seizure RT" A father's tribute car to his epileptic son as a project they can share.... awesome sentiment!

I like yours too, I thought about going that route also, but the Elite 1100 ProCar's look allot like them SRT-8 seats, I just personally liked the thinner profile of the ProCar's Elite 1100's, they also have a seat that looks allot closer in upholstery patterns to the 60's stlye seats, but IMO were a little too thick & too big of bolsters on the seat & backs, they're called Rally 1000's that have an adjustable head rest also, with linear pleats too, look a little more era correct, but are far thicker... They also have a lowback bucket seat without a head rest, also with linear pleats, like many muscle cars have, that was a VW Bug replacement originally that's actually how I knew about them... ProCar/Scat Pro 90 Lowback 1400's...

I tried the seats from the Charger in my GTX but they were too wide at the base with the electric control "panel" on there. I went with Corbeau seats and the bracket that came with it was WAY too tall. I ended up cutting it down to about 1 1/2" high and spent a lot of time fitting them. If you are thinking 3 point retractable belts look hard at relocating the mount point aft as it will interfere with the adjustment lever on a manual ( non electric) type seat
As fora the instruments, they are can buss driven and I still have not got that figured. My buddy talked to someone in Canada who says he can reprogram them to work off VSS signals so when I get home from my spring fling/ Vegas car vacation I will look intro that

The Summit seats look decent in the 70 up cars.

I'm with you there. I've seen a complete interior, dash, console, seats and all transferred into a classic Mopar in a mag so it can be done. I think the dash, console and door panels looked a bit out of place but loved the seats but that's just me. I put 04 Stratus front seats and a Chrysler 300 rear seat in mine, there's a bit of work in the rears. All said and done I'm really happy with the results. I would have loved to have a set of SRT seats but at $175.00 for the set I'm not going to complain.

:iamwithstupid: 70 Charger aka "Punishment" Interior, full on custom made, not factory late model stuff thou
