i put a thread over in the 66-70 b-body section before i seen this! sorry:grin:

bought this past weekend, 66 belvedere II, 318 wide block, 57k miles automatic. runs great, drives great, took it on its mayden voyage last night with the wife and two babies in the back seat.....everyone enjoyed. its so fun to drive these old cars and the attention they get.

ive owned everything from camaros, grand nationals, firebirds, malibus, mustangs, u name it ive about had it and these old mopars are just totally different...step back in time.:hatwave:

You need some 5 spoke road wheels. They look really good on those. I just happen to have a set if you need them.

They have trim rings,5 spokes, black in between the spokes. Spokes are brushed steel. They came on roadrunners alot.

here they are on my road runner , also known as magnum 500's on fords

Don't give those dodge hubcaps on your car away. Those are a pretty hot item as well.

nah i won't get rid of anything on it....i was searching for steel 15" wheels the other day and ran across how $$$ those caps were...yikes. small fortune.

i have some 17x7's and 17x8's on the way....torque thrust type a wheel with the charcoal centers...they kinda look like the wheels shown above only 17's....but the steelies won't go anywhere.... ;)

X2 on the cap worth $! Hmmm, how bout the new billet torque thrusts with the gray finish in the center? Hi tech, retro look. But the way it is now works really good for me too!

Welcome Don!! how is that car sittin' so low??? looks bad-***!!

thanks!, i love the way it sits also, i beleive(since i have only had the car less than a week) that its just good ol sourthern lowering....front bars cranked down(which the front end has been aligned so it drives great and straight) and it has air shocks in the rear, and probably the shocks are lacking in the air department :rolling: but it rides and drives good, once i get my new wheels on it i will address the riding stance and see what it looks like from there.....

thanks for all the comments guys....i have drove it a couple of days here since weather has been fabulous, and man it draws the stares and waves....thumbs up, love it.....

ive got new windshield going in today with new weather stripping, wheels are shipping this week(i hope), and get the air fixed soon...i have a list a mile long but thats the fun of owning these timeless gems...

Hey Uncle Don who's installing the windshield? A local glass co. or one of the national co.'s? Did you have the glass or did you buy it through them? I'm having to do the same shortly so just curious.

Through a local company, Meredith and Sons Glass, he orderd it but he is a old car guy at heart so he knows where to get the glass for these old cars, he once found a rear side glass for a 65 dodge polara convertible i had...now thats a find....and i bought the rubber seal off of fleabay for it...
