Hi there, I have a 1966 Charger 383 (4) b. that I've had since 85, anyway when I bought her she had Arizona plates still on it and what looked like orig. tires, dull silver paint. She also has elec. windows and air conditioning with opt. console clock. My question here how rare is this car, since I bought her I had her painted, not orig. color, not sure that was such a good Ideal. Anyway she has been sitting in my garage for years and now been getting the itch to get her back on the road. The motor is strong but burns oil out the dual pipes. A motor rebuild on the list, needs suspension and steering, brake upgrade the list goes on. Right now she is unmolested but needs work and after I start getting things done you can not go back. Wondering what you B-body people think about this..:edgy:

Welcome. No way of knowing how your car breaks down by it's options. If there is any chance if finding out, Galen Govier would be your best bet. Understand it might take 9 months for an answer from him though.

If you love the car, then get it back up on it's feet. Changing the color is usually not the best idea, but if you like the color and you have no plans of selling, then it doesn't matter much.
