Wondered if any body could help with what carb would best suit my 340 LA

Also what jet sizes would be good start with?

Just about to rebuild this engine with the following

4.070 TRW 9.7:1 pistons & eagle rods
Nicely ported cast iron J heads with 2"in &1.6" ex and roller rockers
Edelbroke RPM manifold
Mopar flat tappet .484 cam

I have a Holey 650 vacum secondary on it currently, would any one no the best combo this is a street car not a race car.

Cheers Phil Mears

if it was me, and it was street car only.... i would go with a holley 750, vac secondarys. choke is up to you !

I'm a big fan of Carters, AVS (my personal fave) AVS, and the new Edelbrock incarnations. Got a 1406 on my Duster, and just put one on this 70 runner.

Nice piece. Easy to deal with. Easy to tune. Not gonna leak after drying up and the bowel gaskets shrink up like on a Holley

Cheers all, would prefer to stick with a Holley, easier to buy down here at the bottom of the world, would anyone know roughly what main jets etc I should run?
