QUOTE from Cudacollins:
"Don't worry about the "Galen GOOBERS" and they're little white books, (you know what you have). they usually know very little about '65 and back cars anyway, so take all that with a grain of salt"

This comment came from another thread that was in a for sale ad.

I believe it was directed at me.

Admittedly I have limited knowledge of 1965 back cars simply because i have not studied them in any great detail.

My comments and use of GGs white books is for the most part just a convenience as the vast majority of the info in them is available from other Chrysler corporation printed sources. The white books are simply one of the most convenient sources to find the info in one place quickly.

As my signature indicates I sold Dodges new from 1968-74 so much of my knoweldge comes from this as well as owning and studying 1966-up Mopars for 40 years.

Regarding my comments and questioning of the car for sale, it is dead on correct. It is a nice car but by know means IS IT a 1 of 1 car (as the title of the post indicates) based on anything the OP posted. Being built "for" someone special can also be said of ANY car sold by order when new, big deal. Selling for a small town dealer that only stocked about 40 cars at a time MOST of our sales were ordered for a specific customer per their specific model/option order.

All of my cars and everyone else's is a 1 of 1 with the only exact V.I.N. of its kind

I agree, I saw the other Thread and didn't see any thing that made it a 1 of 1 either, :edgy: but I still wonder how Buddy Arrington can be the second owner, He bought it from an employee, and the car be built just for him, :edgy: Any car can be a 1 of 1 if the owner or previous owner is taken into consideration, no matter how many were built.

I didn't see anything that made the car a one of one. I think it's special having the Arrington connection. Arrington is officially the last professional NASCAR driver to have served time for runnin' moonshine. He also is the only guy to run strictly MOPAR through his career. I am a little confused as to what was said about this car. Was it built for Buddy and then given to his mechanic or what?

Galen said it was built by Chrysler for Buddy.
